Single Adult Services - Emergency Shelter

Located in Kansas City, MO, ReStart, Inc. provides vital emergency shelter services for single adults in need. Our facility accommodates up to 30 individuals, offering a safe and welcoming environment where each person enjoys their own bed, a personal locker, and the freedom to come and go as they wish. Our comprehensive program includes essential services such as three nutritious meals per day, showers, laundry facilities, and access to a phone. We prioritize mental well-being through on-site mental health screenings, counseling, and health education, along with dedicated case management to support individuals in their journey toward stability and self-sufficiency.
