The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship based in High Ridge, MO, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture and food justice. Through a comprehensive, tuition-free program, we empower selected Fellows with hands-on education in organic food systems, allowing them to become effective teachers and advocates for a just and equitable food system. This transformative experience includes six months of immersive learning at our Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where Fellows work alongside regional non-profits to implement practical solutions such as growing and distributing diverse crops, managing school gardens, and enhancing food literacy in educational settings. Our fellows actively engage in creating innovative healthcare sessions, supporting local farmers markets, and developing channels for greater access to healthy food within the community. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March each year and join us in our mission to foster a resilient food system that prioritizes environmental, social, and economic wellbeing.
