The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Festus, MO, offers a transformative opportunity for individuals committed to fostering a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. Over six months, selected Fellows engage deeply in experiential learning at AMI’s Allegheny Farm Campus, where they cultivate skills in growing diversified crops, implementing community education on health and nutrition, maintaining gardens, and supporting direct-to-consumer food initiatives. Following their immersive training, Fellows dedicate a Community Action Year to applying their knowledge alongside regional non-profit organizations, creating lasting impacts through initiatives such as community food coalitions and farmers markets. Applications are accepted until March, with the fellowship experience running from May to October each year.
