MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Farmington, MO, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, providing personalized referrals to a range of weight management services tailored to fit individual needs and preferences. Participants can benefit from diverse care options, including group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program that offers in-home messaging and clinician support. Additionally, we provide the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer a self-directed approach. For Veterans who have engaged with MOVE! yet still face challenges with weight-related issues, we also offer access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
