Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Excelsior Springs, MO, provides a transformative educational experience that equips aspiring leaders to champion a just food system. This program fosters a deep understanding of organic food systems while emphasizing the importance of social, economic, and environmental sustainability. Through hands-on training at the stunning Allegheny Farm in Virginia, selected Fellows immerse themselves in a six-month residency, followed by a Community Action Year where they implement their skills with regional non-profits. The Fellowship is committed to accessibility, offering tuition-free participation to promote inclusivity. Participants engage in a wide range of activities, including growing and distributing diverse crops, leading health-focused educational sessions, maintaining community gardens, and enhancing food literacy in schools.
