Family Support

In De Soto, MO, the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) is dedicated to empowering individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome and their families. Our Family Support team offers essential resources including accurate information, parental mentoring, and guidance on nutritional education and meal planning tailored to meet the unique needs of those affected. We also provide behavior management support and assistance with navigating Medicaid, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) applications and appeals. Families can connect with local PWSA chapters and join our supportive Facebook groups to access the help they need during challenging times.
