Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Camdenton, MO, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of advocates for a just food system through comprehensive training and hands-on experience. Our program empowers Fellows to champion social, environmental, and economic justice in food systems, offering organic food system education without any tuition fees to ensure accessibility for all. Over six months, participants engage in experiential learning at our Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they collaborate with local non-profit organizations on impactful projects. From growing and distributing diverse crops on market-style farms to enhancing community gardens and promoting food literacy in schools, our Fellows are equipped to make tangible impacts. By supporting farmers markets and direct-to-consumer programs, they strive to improve healthy food access in the community. The application process opens in the early months of the year, with experiences typically running from May to October, and we welcome enthusiastic individuals ready to transform their communities through sustainable food practices.
