Nestled in Branson, MO, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture. Our program invites passionate individuals to engage in a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm, where they receive hands-on training in organic food systems and advocacy for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. We believe that education should be accessible, which is why we offer our Fellowship at no cost, removing financial barriers for aspiring farmers and community advocates. Our Fellows grow diverse crops, educate communities about health and nutrition, maintain gardens, and develop vital distribution channels to enhance access to healthy foods. After their training, Fellows enter a Community Action Year, partnering with regional non-profit organizations to implement their knowledge and promote food literacy. Applications are welcomed annually until March, with the program running from May to October, providing an opportunity to make impactful changes in our local food systems.
