Emergency Assistance

Located in Blue Springs, MO, the Emergency Assistance Program by CSL is dedicated to helping families achieve stability and move toward economic self-sufficiency. We understand that overcoming crises involves immediate and targeted support; therefore, we provide essential food assistance through nutritional food items for families in need. Our program also offers non-emergency medical help, including support for prescription medicines and medical aids like eyeglasses and hearing aids for qualified individuals. For those facing eviction or foreclosure, we assist with rent and mortgage payments, while families at risk of utility shut-off can receive help with their utility bills. Additionally, we aid individuals in obtaining necessary identification documents such as birth certificates. To support personal needs, clients can shop for clothing and hygiene items as they become available, and in August we provide school supplies and shoes to qualifying families. During the holiday season, we also offer assistance with Christmas presents and meals for children, ensuring a brighter season for those we serve.
