Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Belton, MO, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. We empower Fellows through immersive training in organic agriculture, community engagement, and food education, all aimed at fostering social, environmental, and economic equity. Participants receive comprehensive instruction without any tuition costs, ensuring that this valuable opportunity is accessible to all. Throughout a six-month experiential program at our Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows gain firsthand experience in growing and distributing diverse crops, leading educational workshops in innovative healthcare, managing school and community gardens, and promoting food and ecological literacy. Following this enriching phase, Fellows engage in a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to apply their skills and support initiatives such as farmers markets and direct-to-consumer food programs. We invite passionate individuals to apply and join us in transforming food systems, with applications typically due by March for the program running from May to October.
