MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in Zeeland, MI, MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran who utilizes VA facilities receives annual obesity screenings and is provided with personalized referrals to suitable weight management solutions. We understand that every individual has unique needs, which is why we offer a variety of care options, including supportive group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, enabling Veterans to receive in-home care through messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a more independent approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is designed to aid self-management. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing persistent challenges with overweight or weight-related issues. To learn more about participating in MOVE!, Veterans are encouraged to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider, who can guide them through the process of getting started on their weight loss journey.
