Emily Wezner

Emily Wezner is a dedicated licensed professional counselor (LPC, NCC) who understands that anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, body image concerns, and trauma are challenges many individuals face. She emphasizes that no one has to navigate these struggles alone and believes that it is entirely possible to feel safe, experience joy, reduce worry, and cultivate a sense of empowerment and understanding. Emily sees every individual as special and worthy, with lives enriched by unique experiences, memories, complexities, and blessings. Within these intricate details and personal narratives, she assists clients in exploring their sense of self, ultimately leading to personal growth, enhanced self-awareness, and self-acceptance. Her extensive experience encompasses areas such as abuse, intimate partner violence, life transitions, parenting and communication issues, family dynamics, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and adolescent challenges including ADHD and anger. Emily primarily works with adolescents aged 14 and up, as well as adults. Taking a holistic approach, she focuses on the vital connections between physical, emotional, and mental health. Emily strives to create a space that is non-judgmental and filled with empathy, working collaboratively with clients to navigate triggers, overcome anxiety and depression, heal from trauma, foster healthy relationships and boundaries, and ultimately, to live life to its fullest.
