Melissa Lisa Lynn Sias is a Masters Level Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) with over two decades of experience in the field, having begun her journey in 1997. She specializes in working with both children as young as two and adults up to the age of 65, providing compassionate support for individuals facing challenges such as depression, suicidality, anxiety, grief, trauma, family conflict, and anger control issues. Melissa is committed to discovering each person's unique strengths and utilizing them to foster effective coping skills. With a decade of training focused on parents and children aged 0-5, she has dedicated much of her career to a Community Mental Health agency, where she has successfully guided children and families through a wide array of issues, helping them to cultivate hope, resilience, and a more optimistic perspective on life. In her private practice, she adopts an integrative approach, collaborating closely with primary care physicians and alternative specialists such as acupuncturists and yoga instructors to promote holistic well-being. Her background in Infant Mental Health enables Melissa to support parents of young children in forming strong bonds and navigating the complexities of trauma and loss.
