MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans in Waterford, MI, by offering comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission revolves around identifying and addressing obesity among Veterans, ensuring that every individual who receives care at VA facilities is screened and referred to suitable weight management resources. We provide a variety of personalized treatment options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows for in-home support and clinician contact as needed. For those who prefer to self-manage, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, alongside options for weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may require additional assistance.
