Sharon Rose is a highly trained and experienced clinician with over 30 years in therapeutic practice. She specializes in helping individuals who may be feeling depressed, anxious, upset, or grieving. Recognizing the challenges of balancing work-from-home life with family responsibilities, Sharon offers support for those facing job loss, health concerns, and emotional distress. With expertise in PTSD, grief, trauma, addiction, and mental health issues, she is dedicated to helping her clients become happier and improve their communication with loved ones. Sharon provides counseling for individuals, families, couples, and members of the GLBT+ community, as well as military personnel, all while fostering positive outcomes. As a Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor, she understands the complexities of addiction and assists clients in addressing relapse patterns and the associated medical, psychological, and social challenges. Sharon equips her clients with essential tools for sobriety, including strategies for effective parenting and communication through choices and consequences, particularly during the unique stresses of homeschooling and COVID-19 isolation. Her diverse background includes instruction at WSU and Baker College, experience in Hospice care, Psychiatric and Medical Social Work, and Community Education. With an emphasis on confidentiality, Sharon also offers TELE/HEALTH services for greater accessibility.
