MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Walled Lake, MI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and guided towards appropriate weight management solutions tailored to their needs. We offer a range of supportive options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer self-guided approaches, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges despite utilizing our services. Interested Veterans are encouraged to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey towards better health.
