MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in Utica, MI, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and connected to the appropriate weight management resources. We offer a range of customized treatment options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, while Veterans facing ongoing challenges may access weight loss medications and bariatric surgery as needed. We invite any Veteran interested in weight loss to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey towards better health.
