Lyanna Leibert

Lyanna Leibert is a caring and strength-based counselor with extensive qualifications, including an MEd, EdS, LPC, and NCC. Having graduated from the University of Florida in 1998, she specializes in working with families, children, teens, and adults. Her compassionate approach allows families and individuals to rediscover their inherent strengths while learning new skills to navigate life's challenges. Lyanna helps clients gain greater mastery over their lives, particularly when faced with stressors that disrupt their balance, leading to feelings of anger, anxiety, and depression. As a family counselor, she acts as a coach, taking the time to understand each family member's unique strengths and areas for growth. By creatively identifying modifications that can lead to rapid change, she fosters an environment where all involved can feel more at ease. With children, Lyanna utilizes play therapy to encourage self-expression and enhance communication and problem-solving skills, employing age-appropriate language to engage them effectively. With teens, she incorporates music and multimedia to address motivation and reality, while her work with parents is characterized by humor, care, and strategic guidance. Through her diverse methodologies—including coaching, play therapy, family systems, and cognitive behavioral therapy—Lyanna empowers her clients to walk away from their problems and towards a more fulfilling life.
