The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship located in Saginaw, MI, is dedicated to empowering individuals to become passionate advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through hands-on training and immersive experiences at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows are equipped with essential skills in organic food system education, community engagement, and ecological literacy. Our program fosters accessibility by not charging tuition, ensuring that aspiring leaders can focus on growing diversified crops, maintaining community gardens, and supporting local farmers' markets. Over the course of six months, Fellows engage in meaningful projects with regional non-profit organizations, culminating in a Community Action Year where they implement innovative health initiatives and advocate for greater access to healthy foods. We invite aspiring Fellows to apply by March each year for a transformative experience running from May to October.
