MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in Royal Oak, MI, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure every Veteran at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and provided with tailored referrals to weight management services that align with their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of care options ranging from supportive group sessions and telephone lifestyle coaching to our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which connects Veterans with clinicians from the comfort of their homes. Additionally, the MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans to take charge of their weight management journey independently. For those facing ongoing challenges with overweight or weight-related issues, we also provide access to weight loss medications and Bariatric surgery.
