The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Owosso, MI, is dedicated to training and empowering passionate individuals who want to advocate for a food system that is just, sustainable, and impactful. Without charging tuition, we ensure accessibility for all prospective Fellows. This immersive program encompasses comprehensive organic food system education alongside practical experiences. Throughout a six-month residency at our beautiful campus, Fellows engage in cultivating diverse crops, leading educational health initiatives, managing community gardens, and fostering food literacy in local schools. The Fellowship also supports community farmers markets and direct-to-consumer sales, effectively enhancing access to nutritious food. Following their training, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, applying their skills in collaboration with regional non-profits to further promote food justice and sustainability. We warmly invite dedicated individuals to apply by March each year for an unforgettable transformational journey that begins in May.
