MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Macomb, MI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to provide individualized care by annually screening every Veteran receiving treatment at VA facilities for obesity and connecting them to tailored weight management services. Veterans can choose from a variety of options including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home support. For those who prefer more independence, we offer the MOVE! Coach mobile app to help manage their weight at their own pace. Additionally, we provide access to medical treatment options, including weight loss medications and bariatric surgery, for Veterans who need further assistance after participating in our program.
