MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in Hudsonville, MI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion. Our mission includes annually screening every Veteran who utilizes VA facilities for obesity, providing tailored referrals to weight management services, and offering various treatment options to cater to the diverse needs of our Veterans. Participants can benefit from a range of care options including engaging group sessions, supportive telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! which facilitates in-home messaging and clinician contact as needed. For those who prefer independent management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, alongside weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with obesity. To explore the possibilities of achieving a healthier lifestyle through MOVE!, Veterans are encouraged to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey.
