Derrick Miller, LMSW, is a dedicated Clinical Social Worker and Therapist who creates and holds a healing and restorative space for his clients. He embodies unconditional positive regard, cultivating a supportive and accepting atmosphere for individuals sharing their feelings and experiences. Derrick works with those seeking guidance through life's challenges, aiming to lead them towards a life enriched with joy, optimism, and a profound sense of emotional health and well-being. With extensive experience in the mental health field, Derrick is recognized as a trauma and somatic-informed therapist, skilled in treating a diverse array of diagnoses across various settings. He is trained in EMDR therapy and is currently completing his final year of Somatic Experiencing training, focusing on body-based trauma treatments, further enhancing his expertise in trauma and PTSD. Through therapy modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Attachment-based approaches, Derrick is committed to fostering resilience and empowerment in his clients.
