MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Garden City, MI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and connected to relevant weight management services tailored to individual needs and preferences. We offer a range of care options, including engaging group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer more independence, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, providing a self-guided approach to weight management. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who have not found success through other means.
