MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in Flushing, MI, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to supporting Veterans in achieving their health and wellness goals through targeted weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receives an annual screening for obesity at VA facilities, connecting them with tailored weight management options that resonate with their individual needs and lifestyles. We offer a variety of services including group sessions for community support, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and remote access through TeleMOVE! and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer self-guided management. For Veterans struggling to reach their weight goals, we also provide access to weight-loss medications and bariatric surgery when appropriate.
