Located in Adrian, MI, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to empowering individuals to advocate for a just food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable. Through comprehensive training and hands-on experience, our Fellows learn about organic food systems, contribute to community initiatives, and engage in impactful projects such as growing and distributing diverse crops on a market-style farm, maintaining school gardens, and supporting farmers markets. We believe in making our program accessible and do not charge tuition for participation. Our six-month immersive Fellowship, followed by a Community Action Year, allows selected Fellows to apply their training in partnership with regional non-profits, enhancing food access and ecological literacy in local communities. Applications are open until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
