The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Winthrop, ME, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders who are passionate about creating a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. This transformative program empowers selected Fellows through comprehensive organic food system education, providing them with hands-on training at the beautiful Allegheny Farm in Virginia. The Fellowship promotes accessibility by not charging tuition, making it easier for passionate individuals to join. After a six-month immersive experience, Fellows enter a Community Action Year, where they put their skills into practice with regional non-profit organizations, supporting farmers' markets, developing access to healthy foods, and mentoring future cohorts.
