The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Winterport, ME, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to advocate for a food system that champions social, environmental, and economic justice. This transformative program, hosted by the Allegheny Mountain Institute, offers a tuition-free educational experience in organic food systems, enabling selected Fellows to immerse themselves in hands-on learning at the Allegheny Farm Campus. Throughout their six-month residency, participants engage in practical initiatives such as growing diversified crops, implementing innovative health care education, maintaining community gardens, and supporting local farmers markets.
