Maine Harvest Bucks (MHB), a vital initiative of the Maine Federation of Farmers’ Markets in Wilton, ME, is dedicated to supporting low-income shoppers by offering nutrition incentives that make accessing fresh, local produce more affordable. Through our program, participants can earn $5 in Maine Harvest Bucks for every $10 spent using SNAP/EBT at participating farmers’ markets, CSA farms, and farm stands. These earned Bucks can be utilized immediately or saved for future purchases, enabling families to stretch their food dollars further.
