The Maine Senior FarmShare Program, located in Waldoboro, ME, is dedicated to supporting income-eligible older adults by providing them access to fresh, locally grown produce at no cost. Each year, starting in April, seniors can sign up directly with participating local farmers to receive a share valued at $50 during the growing season. While we strive to help as many seniors as possible, please note that shares are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis. Our mission is to ensure that older adults in the community can enjoy nutritious food while fostering connections with local agriculture.
