Located in South China, ME, Financial Assistance Funds is dedicated to supporting children with special health care needs and their families by providing essential financial assistance. Our program addresses a variety of medical and non-medical needs, including coverage for medical costs like prescriptions and durable medical equipment, as well as home and vehicle modifications and daily living expenses such as food and utilities. We also assist with healthcare-related costs, including travel to medical facilities and accommodations for families during treatment. Each year, grants of up to $500 are available per family, while requests exceeding this amount are carefully reviewed and subject to Board approval. We prioritize timely assistance by processing requests in the order received, typically taking a minimum of 15 business days for evaluation. Our mission is to remove financial barriers and provide caring support to families navigating the challenges of special health care needs.
