The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Sanford, ME, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system. Through a unique six-month experiential training at our beautiful Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows engage in hands-on education about organic food systems while collaborating with regional non-profits during a Community Action Year. Our inclusive program prioritizes accessibility by providing this transformative journey at no tuition cost. Fellows will gain practical experience in growing and distributing diversified crops, implementing health education initiatives, maintaining community gardens, and enriching school programs with food and ecological literacy. By supporting farmers markets and fostering direct-to-consumer models, we aim to enhance access to healthy foods. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March each year, with opportunities to engage in impactful work from May to October.
