The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Raymond, ME, nurtures passionate individuals to become effective advocates for a just food system that prioritizes social equity, environmental health, and economic sustainability. Through immersive education at the Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows engage in a six-month experiential learning program focused on organic food systems. This tuition-free initiative ensures that all aspiring leaders have access to vital training, allowing them to cultivate diversified crops on market-style farms, maintain community gardens, and integrate food literacy into educational settings. Additionally, the Fellowship promotes community engagement through support of local farmer's markets, development of healthy food distribution channels, and collaboration with regional non-profit organizations. By empowering the next generation of food leaders, we strive to enhance access to healthy foods and foster resilient, thriving communities.
