Daniel 'Danny' Bell is a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, also recognized as a Certified Clinical Supervisor. Licensed in both Virginia and Maine, he has cultivated his practice in the beautiful setting of southern Maine. Mr. Bell partners with individuals and couples to address a diverse range of clinical issues, including depression, anxiety disorders, relationship challenges, and substance use disorders, all while considering the unique needs of clients in today’s society. A graduate of Plymouth State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, he continued his academic journey at the University of New England, obtaining a Master’s degree in Social Work. Drawing from relational, cognitive behavioral, and humanistic therapeutic perspectives, Mr. Bell is a firm believer in the resilience and strength of the human spirit. He approaches therapy as if he were tending to a beautiful garden, nurturing growth and transformation rather than fixing mechanical issues. His goal is to cultivate a respectful, safe, and encouraging atmosphere, where individuals can embark on their transformative journeys when the right conditions are established.
