The Senior Food Program, part of the WMCA’s Supplemental Commodity Food Program, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to income-eligible seniors aged 60 and older in Poland, ME, and surrounding areas including Franklin County, Livermore, and Livermore Falls. Our mission is to ensure that no senior faces food insecurity by delivering nutritious emergency food directly to their homes each month. With a limited number of 267 food allotments available, we are committed to reaching as many seniors as possible, and those who express interest are added to a wait list for future service. We believe in the importance of supporting our elderly community members with care and respect, providing them with the dignity and nourishment they deserve.
