Located in Oxford, ME, the Diabetes Education Program offered by MaineHealth is dedicated to enhancing the health and quality of life for individuals living with diabetes in our community. We provide a comprehensive suite of services including monthly diabetes support groups, diabetes self-management education, insulin pump initiation and ongoing management, training on continuous glucose monitors, insulin and injection techniques, blood sugar meter usage, and carbohydrate counting. Our mission is to empower our participants with the knowledge and skills they need to manage their condition effectively.
