Located in North Yarmouth, ME, the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) is dedicated to providing invaluable support for individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome and their families. At the heart of our mission is the Family Support team, offering accurate information and compassionate assistance right when it is needed most during a diagnosis. We provide a range of services including informational resources, parent mentoring, nutritional education, meal planning, and behavior management support. Additionally, we assist families navigating the complexities of application and appeal processes for Medicaid, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
