The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in North Berwick, ME, is dedicated to cultivating future leaders in food advocacy through comprehensive training and empowerment. This fellowship offers a unique, tuition-free program designed to foster a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system. Fellows engage in hands-on education in organic farming and community support initiatives, such as growing and distributing diverse crops, conducting health-focused educational sessions, and maintaining gardens that nourish both the mind and body. Additionally, participants will learn to integrate food and ecological literacy into educational environments and engage with local farmers markets to promote direct access to healthy foods.
