Community Food Pantry in New Gloucester, ME is dedicated to alleviating hunger by providing emergency food assistance to residents in Cumberland, North Yarmouth, Pownal, and New Gloucester who are facing food insecurity. Our pantry offers a diverse selection of perishable and nonperishable items, generously donated by local churches, organizations, and community members. We strive to meet basic nutritional needs while also directing clients to additional support services. First-time visitors can easily apply during our operational hours on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Fridays of each month by completing a brief application and presenting a valid ID along with proof of residency. Each client receives an ID card valid for the year, allowing access to food assistance on any of our open days, ensuring that help is always at hand when needed most.
