The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant, based in Lincolnville, ME, provides essential support for individuals grappling with significant financial hardships due to chronic, terminal, or rare illnesses such as cancer, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s Disease. Our mission is to alleviate some of the burdens these conditions bring by offering targeted assistance in the form of utility or grocery support. While our grants specifically cover either utilities or groceries, we also collaborate with other organizations to ensure that those we assist can access comprehensive support tailored to their needs.
