Through a dynamic six-month experiential program at the Allegheny Farm, Fellows engage in hands-on training that covers organic food system education and practical applications designed to make a tangible impact. Fellows gain valuable experience in teaching food and ecological literacy, supporting farmers markets, and developing channels that enhance access to healthy foods. This tuition-free Fellowship promotes accessibility and empowers individuals to partner with regional non-profit organizations during their Community Action Year, advocating for sustainable food systems and community well-being. Applications are accepted until March of each year, with opportunities running from May through October.
