Located in Freeport, ME, the Portland Food Co-Op Grocery Store is dedicated to providing our community with fresh, high-quality products sourced from over 200 Maine-based producers, alongside beloved national brands. Our extensive selection includes fresh produce, quality meat and dairy, vitamins and supplements, body care items, and essential household products. We proudly accept SNAP benefits, and through our innovative program, SNAP recipients can enjoy free local produce to support healthy eating. In light of COVID-19, we have adjusted our hours to better serve our community, reserving the first hour of each day from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. for immune-compromised, disabled, and elderly shoppers, with our doors open to the general public from 11 A.M. to 8 P.M. We strive to foster a welcoming environment where everyone can access nutritious food and local products.
