MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in Ellsworth, ME, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with personalized weight management solutions that suit their individual needs. We offer a variety of services, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides remote support for Veterans at home. Our MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers those who prefer a self-directed approach, while we also offer access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may need additional interventions.
