Teyona Hayes, MS, LGPC, is a compassionate counselor who firmly believes in the power of the mind as the cornerstone of human experience. She embraces the idea that therapy is a journey accessible to everyone, without the need for a specific reason, and encourages individuals to nurture their mental health with the same care they would give their bodies. Teyona emphasizes that self-investment through therapy is an enriching experience, one that supports clients in exploring their personal needs—often overlooked in a fast-paced world. With a commitment to helping all clients achieve their highest potential, Teyona is known for her authenticity, creativity, and direct yet patient approach. She advocates fiercely for the importance of mental wellness and possesses extensive experience in areas such as substance use, life skills, communication, problem-solving, troubled youth, and prison mental health. Teyona earned her Master's in Counseling Psychology from Alabama A&M University and her Bachelor's in Psychology from Saint Louis University.
