Time to Fly

Time to Fly is a compassionate and comprehensive faith-based counseling center located in Sykesville, MD, dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence, particularly women and children in Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland. Our free 3 Step program focuses on restoring self-worth and identity through holistic support including counseling, parenting education, nutrition guidance, daily life skills training, financial literacy, computer classes, and the establishment of a supportive network. Participants will engage in workshops that address the roots and effects of domestic violence, empowering them to find God’s plan for their lives and heal their relationships. We also offer an After Care Program that caters to spiritual and practical needs through life-skills workshops and access to vital resources such as housing, childcare, and employment assistance. Childcare is provided during sessions, which are scheduled quarterly and accommodate up to 50 women and 15 children, ensuring a nurturing environment as they begin their journey toward healing and independence.
