MOVE! Weight Management Program in Silver Spring, MD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to address the challenges of obesity by ensuring that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually and referred to personalized weight management options that suit their unique needs. We offer a range of care alternatives, including engaging group sessions, supportive telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! in-home messaging system that connects Veterans with clinicians as needed. For those who prefer a more independent approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, along with access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face difficulties despite previous efforts.
