MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Potomac, MD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management services that meet their individual needs and preferences. We offer a range of options including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, alongside options for weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may need additional support after using MOVE!.
