MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Mechanicsville, MD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to support every Veteran who accesses care at VA facilities by screening for obesity annually and providing tailored weight management options that align with individual needs and preferences. We offer a range of services, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. Additionally, Veterans can utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for independent weight management. For those who continue to face challenges, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
