Family Support

At the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) in Leonardtown, MD, we are dedicated to empowering individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome along with their families and care providers. Our Family Support team offers essential resources and compassionate guidance, ensuring that families receive accurate information and comprehensive assistance from the moment of diagnosis. We provide a range of services, including parent mentoring, nutritional education and meal planning, behavior management support, and help navigating the application and appeal processes for Medicaid, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
